New 2016 Audi Q7 will come with some exciting changes, both on the inside and on the outside. It will use the MLB Evo platform, which means that the weight of car will be reduced by 500 pounds. 2016 AUDI Q7 ENGINE
There will be a few engine options offered with the new Q7. First option will be a 2.0 liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that will be capable of producing 252 horsepower and around 290 lb-ft of torque. This one will come with a base model and it will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just under 7 seconds. Second option will be a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 engine that will be able to produce 333 horsepower. Diesel version will come with a 3.0 liter engine that will be capable of generating around 272 horsepower and up to 443 lb-ft of torque. When it comes to the transmission system, new 2016 Audi Q7 will be equipped with 8-speed automatic gearbox and come with an all-wheel drive system as a standard.
RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE
This great SUV will most likely be available for purchase towards the end of 2015. When it comes to the price, new 2016 Audi Q7 will probably cost slightly more than the previous generation of this model. The starting price is expected to be around $49,000.
