After the first introduction of this model in 2006, Audi R8 has become one of the favorite sports cars. This year 2016 Audi R8 is coming bigger and better.

CHANGES AND IMPROVEMENTS

New 2016 Audi R8 will be using the same platform as the Lamborghini. It will be a little wider and a little longer than the current generation of the R8, which will give it more space inside the cabin. New Audi will be made of the lightweight materials such as aluminum and carbon fiber, resulting in the weight reduction of 130kg. The appearance of the new model will not be too different from the previous one. New Audi will be more aggressive and modern, with a more angular appearance. Front of the vehicle will feature redesigned, hexagonal grill and new LED headlights. On the back side, we will see a huge diffuser tucked into the rear bumper. Inside of the cabin we will noticed that the angular design of the exterior is continued. The interior will provide high level of comfort and luxury. It will be equipped with the latest high-technology features including the large touch-screen display.

2016 AUDI R8 ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE

When it comes to the engine of the new 2016 Audi R8, we will probably be presented with two different options. The first one will be a 4.2 liter V8 engine that is capable of generating 450 horsepower. This engine will come with the base model. Top class models will use a 5.2 liter V10 engine that will deliver up to 570 horsepower. Both of these engines will be paired with S tronic 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and will use the cylinder deactivation and stop-start technology. This will significantly reduce the fuel consumption. Audi will probably make a hybrid version of the new 2016 Audi R8. This will be R8 E-tron and it will be made on request.
