2016 BMW M3 – GTS, Price, Colors, Competition Package

BMW’s popular model is coming back with the next generation that will be better than ever. New 2016 BMW M3 comes with a powerful engine and sporty design.


New M3 will keep its fresh and sporty appearance. It comes with a set of 17-inch alloy wheels. Buyers will be able to choose between three door or five door version. Next to the already available exterior colors, BMW will include two completely new choices. Front of the vehicle will feature a recognizable split grille with a BMW sign above it and a pair of redesigned headlights. Taillights will also be revised and will give the vehicle a more aggressive and powerful look. The cabin of the new 2016 BMW M3 will be equipped with some premium materials including leather and carbon fiber. Although the M3 falls into the small car category, it will still provide a comfortable ride for its passengers. BMW will also include many high-tech features such as a 9-inch screen, Bluetooth connectivity, USB port, new braking system and a rearview camera.

Another great change will be seen under the hood of the new model. There are few possibilities for the engine of the new 2016 BMW M3. The first option will be a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine that will be capable of delivering around 200 lb-ft of torque. The second option could be a 3.0-liter inline-6 engine that will be able to produce 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Another possible option may be a 2.0-liter engine that will deliver up to 350 horsepower and around 340 lb-ft of torque. When it comes to the transmission system, all of these engines will be paired with a 6-speed manual DCT transmission system. New M3 will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just under 4.2 seconds.

The official release date is not yet known, but we can most likely expect to see the new 2016 BMW M3 on the market either at the end of 2015 or at the beginning of 2016. The price for the base model will be around $61,500 and it will go up for the higher trim levels.
