2016 BMW X6 – M, Release Date, Price, Review, Interior

After its first introduction eight years ago, new 2016 BMW X6 is coming completely redesigned and ready to take the market of mid-size luxury crossovers.


Even though the new model will come with the same platform, we will see a lot of great changes and improvements, especially on the exterior. By using the lightweight materials such as aluminum and carbon fiber, BMW is aiming to reduce the weight of their new model and therefore improve its aerodynamics and the overall performance. Some of the changes that will be visible on the outside of the vehicle include redesigned headlights, new bumper with large air intakes, new side skirts and large fender. The interior of the new 2016 BMW X6 will feature a sporty and modern design. The cabin will be spacious and will provide high level of comfort for its passengers. Cargo space in also expected to be increased. The dashboard will be redesign and will feature many upgraded technological features that will make this generation of X6 more user-friendly.

New 2016 BMW X6 will come with two engine options, just like the previous generation of this model. Both of these units will be capable of delivering a great performance and will put the new X6 high in its class. The first engine option will be a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine that will be capable of delivering 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. It will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 6 seconds and reach the top speed of 155 mph. The second option will be a 4.4-liter V8 engine. This unit will be able to produce 445 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. When it comes to the transmission system, both of these engines will be paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The official release date of the new 2016 BMW X6 is still unknown but we can probably expect to see the new model on the market at the beginning of 2016. Price is likely to remain the same, meaning that the new model will cost between $62,000 and $73,000 depending on which model you choose.
