2016 BUICK LACROSSE ENGINE
We will see a lot of great changes and improvements under the hood of the new 2016 Buick LaCrosse. Buick is aiming to improve the performance and fuel efficiency of the new model in order to make the new LaCrosse more competitive. Two engine options will be offered. The first option will be a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that will be capable of delivering 420 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. Buick will also offer a hybrid version of the new LaCrosse. This model will probably be equipped with a 2.4-liter EcoTec engine that will be combined with an electric motor and produce more than 180 horsepower. When it comes to the transmission system of this unit, it will most likely come with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE
New 2016 Buick LaCrosse is expected to make its debut at the end of 2015, while the sales will probably start in the second half of 2016. Estimated starting price for this mid-size sedan is around $35,000 and it will go up for the higher trim levels.
