2016 Chevrolet Camaro Design and Engine

Chevrolet’s reputable model is getting a well-deserved redesign. New 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be a combination of recognizable shape and amazing specs.


New Camaro will hit the market with numerous changes and improvements, both on the exterior and the interior. Comparing to the previous generation, new model will be smaller in size. Lightweight materials will be used to reduce the weight of the vehicle and improve the overall performance. Front side of the vehicle will have an aggressive appearance and will feature a new smaller grille and slimmer headlights. At the back, we will see a new bumper and taillights that are equipped with the LED technology. Attractive design will be continued to the cabin of the new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. Depending on the model, seats will be covered with either leather or cloth. It will come with a 7-inch touch screen, 9-speaker sound system, Bluetooth connectivity, USB port, rearview camera, parking sensors, anti-lock brakes, stability control, and many more great features.

When it comes to the engine of the new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, both old and new options will be offered. The first option will be a 3.6-liter aspirated V6 engine, which is the same engine that is under the hood of the base model of the current generation. It will be able to produce 305 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. The second option will be a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that will be capable of delivering 250 horsepower and up to 265 lb-ft of torque. Another engine option for the new model could be a 2.8-liter twin turbocharged V6 engine that will deliver 400 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. The last engine in the lineup will most likely be a 6.2-liter aspirated V8 engine that will produce more than 460 horsepower and up to 500 lb-ft of torque.

There is no official information from Chevrolet regarding the release date of the new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. However, the estimated arrival date is sometime in the last quarter of 2015. Compared to the competition and the quality of the vehicle, price is considered to be fair. Expected starting price is around $25,000.
