2016 GMC Acadia Review and Specs

New 2016 GMC Acadia is coming to the market with some minor changes that will hopefully boost the sales and put this model in line with its competitors.

Some of the changes on the front end will include redesigned front grille and new LED headlights. The cabin of the new 2016 GMC Acadia will be able to accommodate up to eight passengers and will provide a comfortable ride with enough leg and head space. Throughout the cabin, we will see a lot of high-quality materials such as authentic leather, plastic and aluminum. When it comes to the engine of the new 2016 GMC Acadia, it is likely to stay unchanged. Under the hood of the new model will be the same 3.6 liter V6 engine. This engine will be capable of delivering 288 horsepower and up to 270 lb-ft of torque. It will be equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission system and come with a front wheel drive as a standard, while the all-wheel drive system will also be an option. New Acadia will come with the better fuel efficiency in comparison to the previous generation, which will certainly be another reason to consider this model if you are in the market for this type of vehicle.

RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE

If you are interested in purchasing the new 2016 GMC Acadia, you will not have to wait much longer. New model is expected to hit the market in the summer of 2015. The price should not be much higher than the price of the previous generation. It will start at around $35,000 and go up to $50,000, depending on the trim level.
