2016 GMC Acadia Review and Specs

New 2016 GMC Acadia is coming to the market with some minor changes that will hopefully boost the sales and put this model in line with its competitors.


GMC will not introduce any major changes with their new model, but we will definitely see various smaller changes and updates that will make this generation of Acadia unique and even better than its predecessor. The weight of the vehicle will be reduced, which will improve the fuel efficiency and the overall performance. From the outside, new model will look more modern and sportier. Some of the changes on the front end will include redesigned front grille and new LED headlights. When it comes to the engine of the new 2016 GMC Acadia, it is likely to stay unchanged. Under the hood of the new model will be the same 3.6 liter V6 engine. This engine will be capable of delivering 288 horsepower and up to 270 lb-ft of torque. It will be equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission system and come with a front wheel drive as a standard, while the all-wheel drive system will also be an option. New Acadia will come with the better fuel efficiency in comparison to the previous generation, which will certainly be another reason to consider this model if you are in the market for this type of vehicle.
