2016 Honda Fit Design and Specs

Honda’s highly anticipated city vehicle is almost ready to hit the market. Incredible 2016 Honda Fit will most certainly stay at the top of its class.


New model will come with an attractive design and nice improvements, both on the exterior and on the interior. From the outside, new model will look more aggressive, with a lot of body lines that will improve aerodynamics. New Fit will also be wider and longer in size, comparing to the previous generation, which means more space and higher level of comfort inside the cabin. It will use the set of 16-inch alloy wheels. Most changes will be visible on the front end of the vehicle. New model will get a new, redesigned plastic grille with chrome details. Headlights will be equipped with the LED technology. Modern design will be continued to the cabin of the new 2016 Honda Fit which will be equipped with materials such as aluminum, soft plastic as well as some chrome details. Honda will incorporate a lot of high-tech features including a 7-inch touch screen, Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, automatic climate control, anti-lock braking system, and many more.

We will see some nice upgrades under the hood of the new 2016 Honda Fit. There will be a few engine options offered. First one will be a 1.3-liter engine that will be able to produce 130 horsepower and around 100 lb-ft of torque. Second option will most likely be a 1.5-liter engine with direct injection. It will be capable of delivering around 130 horsepower and up to 114 lb-ft of torque. Both of these engines will be paired with a 6-speed manual and CVT transmission system. Honda will also offer a hybrid version of their new model. It will be combined with an electric motor and will be able to produce up to 150 horsepower.

Honda has not yet announced the official release date of their new model. However, we can expect to see this outstanding city vehicle at the market in the early 2016. The price for the new 2016 Honda Fit is estimated to be in the range of $16,000 to $21,000, depending on the level of equipment.
