2016 HONDA HR-V ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE

Honda will probably only offer one engine option with their new model. This will be a 1.8-liter inline 4 engine. It will be capable of delivering 140 horsepower and around 132 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be paired with CVT gearbox. Both front wheel drive and all-wheel drive will be offered. This is the same engine that can be found on the Honda Civic, so we can already assume that the new 2016 Honda HR-V will provide a great, smooth performance. Honda also promises that we will witness improved fuel economy with the new HR-V. There are rumors that say that Honda might offer a hybrid model. This will most likely be a 1.5-liter unit from Honda Vezel.
