Hyundai’s mid-size crossover is coming with a mild facelift. New 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe will be a combination of attractive design and great performance.
EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR
New model will be offered in two trim levels: Grand Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport. Buyers will have the option to choose between a five-seat and a seven-seat layout. New Santa Fe will not come with any huge changes, but we will definitely see some great improvements, both on the exterior and on the interior. Front side of the vehicle will feature a redesigned, bigger grille, and a new front bumper. New model will have a more aggressive appearance, thanks to the increase in the hood’s sloppiness. The back side will also undergo some changes including a redesigned bumper and a new pair of taillights. The cabin of the new 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe will also feature a stylish and modern design. It will be very spacious and comfortable for longer rides. High quality materials, including leather, will be seen throughout the cabin. Keyless start, inbuilt cooler, 4.3-inch color touchscreen, and triple area climate command and just some of the many great technological features that will be included.
2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE ENGINE
We will not see any huge changes when it comes to the engine of the new 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe. New model will keep the same 3.3-liter V6 engine with direct injection, which is under the hood of the previous generation. This unit will be capable of delivering up to 290 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque. It will be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission system. Front-wheel drive will come as a standard while the all-wheel drive will also be available. When it comes to the fuel economy, new model with the front-wheel drive will deliver 21 mpg combined while the one equipped with the all-wheel drive system will deliver 20 mpg combined.
