2016 Jeep Patriot – Review, Price, Release Date, Sport

New 2016 Jeep Patriot is the next generation of Jeep’s popular SUV that will come with its recognizable, stylish design and a lot of great improvements.


Jeep will use lightweight materials in order to reduce the weight of the new model which will improve the fuel economy and the overall performance of the vehicle. Comparing to the previous generation, new model will be wider and lower. It will come with a set of 20-inch wheels. The exterior will keep its masculine yet elegant appearance. The front side of the vehicle will feature a powerful grille, LED headlights, and bigger air vents. The back side will also be slightly redesigned and will now have a more modern and stylish look. The cabin of the new 2016 Jeep Patriot will be spacious and comfortable. Seats will be covered in leather while the rear seats will be able to fold which will provide more luggage space if needed. New Patriot will be equipped with some great modern features and we will see improvements in infotainment system, audio, as well as safety.

When it comes to the engine of the new model, there will be two options available. Base model is likely to be equipped with a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that will be capable of delivering around 158 horsepower and 141 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox and come with a front-wheel drive system. The second option for the engine of the new 2016 Jeep Patriot will most likely be a 2.4-liter inline-4 engine that will be able to generate 172 horsepower and up to 175 lb-ft of torque. It will be paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox while both front-wheel and all-wheel drive will be offered.

Jeep has not yet announced the official release date of the new 2016 Jeep Patriot, but this new SUV will probably hit the market at the beginning of 2016. We will not see a huge changes in the price of the new model. It is expected to start at around $16,000 and go up to $25,000 for the higher trim levels.
