EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR
Lexus will use the lightweight materials such as aluminum in order to reduce the weight of the vehicle and therefore improve fuel efficiency and the overall performance. 2016 LEXUS LS ENGINE
As always, Lexus will not disappoint with the engine lineup for the new 2016 Lexus LS. There will be two options available. The first option will be a 4.6-liter V8 engine that will be capable of delivering up to 386 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque. The second engine option will most likely be a 5.0-liter V8 engine that will be able to produce up to 438 horsepower. It will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission system while both the all-wheel drive and the rear-wheel drive systems are expected to be available. Comparing to the previous generation, new model will have better fuel efficiency which is another great improvement that will make this vehicle more competitive.
RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE
The official release date of the new 2016 Lexus LS is still unknown. However, the new model is expected to hit the dealerships at the beginning of 2016. The price tag for a base model will most likely start at around $70,000, and it will rise from there for the higher trim levels.
