Once again, Nissan is giving one of its SUVs a well-deserved update. With a lot of exciting improvements, 2016 Nissan Armada will come as a nice surprise.
2016 NISSAN ARMADA EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR
Ever since the first Armada made its debut in 2004, this model has not undergone any groundbreaking changes. However, with 2016 model, Nissan is bringing us some great new features and updates that will hopefully increase the sales as well. In comparison to the previous generation, new 2016 Nissan Armada will be bigger in size. Some of the features of the exterior will be similar to the Nissan Titan. The overall appearance of the new Armada will be cleaner and refreshed. Redesigned front bumper will include holes, to circulate air. This will lead to improved aerodynamics. Both headlights and taillights are equipped with LED technology. A lot of the changes will also be visible inside the cabin. New Nissan can comfortably accommodate up to 8 passengers, making this car perfect for big families. Seats will be made of high-quality leather and will offer a heating option as well. Other advanced features include Bluetooth, USB, satellite navigation and radio, Bose audio system, and many more.
ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE
Another great change will be introduced with the engine of the new 2016 Nissan Armada. In order to improve performance and stand in line with its competition, new model will most likely come with two improved engine options. First one will be a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V6 engine that will be able to produce 440 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. Second engine will probably be a 5.0 liter Cummins diesel that will be capable of delivering 300 horsepower and up to 550 lb-ft of torque. With both of these engines you can expect significant improvement in fuel efficiency.
RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE
We can expect to see this model on the market by the end of 2015, or at the beginning of 2016. When it comes to the price of the new 2016 Nissan Armada, you will definitely pay for what you are getting. The price for the base model will be around $35,000, while the higher trim level is expected to cost around $50,000.
