Nissan is bringing bigger and better 2016 Nissan Titan. This pickup is going to be redesigned version of a well-known truck that has not changed since 2002.
EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR CHANGES
With the 2016 Nissan Titan, we are presented with a whole new look. Nissan is taking it up a notch and giving this full-size pickup truck a more powerful and dynamic feel. When creating the shape of the new Titan, Nissan designers were influenced by the engine specifications. Compared to today’s Titan, the nose of the new one will be 175mm longer and 85mm higher. Five grades that are going to be offered with this model are: Work, SV, SL, Pro4X, and Platinum Reserve. Each of these grades will have its own separate wheels. The interior will offer heated seat option for all seats, as well as the cooling option for the front seats. Moreover, the seats in the new Titan are designed to contour the human body in total weightlessness, which are known as zero gravity seats. To assure the increased safety of the driver, this Titan will include 360 degree environment monitor as well as 7-inch touchscreen that will provide easy navigation.
2016 NISSAN TITAN ENGINE
Perhaps the biggest innovation when it comes to 2016 Nissan Titan is the Cummins diesel power of the engine, a 5.0-liter V8. With the expected horsepower of 310 and 555 lb.-ft. of torque, this engine will surely be a more economy friendly option when it comes to the fuel consumption. Although not yet confirmed, considering the company’s competitors, it is likely that there will be a V6 engine option as well, which will be an upgrade from the current version of 5.6-liter V8. It is expected that the new Nissan Titan will come with six-speed automatic transmission and have 12,000-pound towing capacity.
RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE
The launch date of this full-size pickup truck is still unknown but it is expected to make its debut at the next 2015 Detroit Auto Show. As for the price, the new 2016 Nissan Titan will range from $32,000 up to $46,000 depending on the model.
