New 2016 Porsche Panamera is the next generation of company’s luxury sedan that is expected to follow in the footsteps of its successful predecessor.


This year, Panamera is getting a well-deserved redesign. Second generation of this sedan is coming with some great changes and improvements that will make the new model stand out amongst the competition. One of the changes include a new platform, Modular Standard Platform. Thanks to the use of the lightweight materials such as aluminum and magnesium, new model is almost 200 pounds lighter than its predecessor. This will influence the fuel consumption and improve the overall performance. The body is longer and wider, with a sporty and elegant design. We will also see a new pair of headlights that now have oval shape. The cabin of the new 2016 Porsche Panamera will not disappoint either. It is equipped with a lot of premium materials including leather and it comes with some of the latest technological features.

With multiple versions of the new 2016 Porsche Panamera coming to the market, there will be a few options for the engine of the new model. Both V6 and V8 units will be available. One of the options is a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine that is capable of delivering around 420 horsepower and 384 lb-ft or torque. Another engine option is a 3.6-liter V6 unit that is able to produce 310 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Porsche will also offer a hybrid version of their new model. This will be a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine that will, in combination with an electric motor, be capable of producing up to 416 horsepower. These are just some of the engines that are offered, the rest of the lineup will be revealed as the more versions of Panamera get released.

If you are interested in this model, you do not have to wait much longer. New 2016 Porsche Panamera made its debut at the 2015 New York Auto Show and some versions have already been released to the market. The rest of the lineup is expected to be released later this year or at the beginning of the next. Starting price is $80,995.
