Subaru is bringing good news to all environmentally conscious drivers. New 2016 Subaru Crosstrek will be hitting the market with many great improvements.
EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR
We will see a lot of changes and updates, both on the exterior and on the interior of the new model. It will be made out of lightweight materials, reducing the weight of the vehicle and improving the fuel consumption and the overall performance. From the outside, new Crosstrek will have a more futuristic and elegant appearance. Changes that will be visible on the outside include a bigger grille, revised front bumper, and redesigned headlights. 2016 SUBARU CROSSTREK ENGINE
Great changes will be seen under the hood of the new 2016 Subaru Crosstrek as well. There will be two options for the engine of the new model. First option will be a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that will be capable of delivering 148 horsepower and around 145 lb-ft of torque. This unit will be paired with a CVT transmission system. It will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in around 9 seconds. There will also be a hybrid version of the new Crosstrek. This model will most likely be equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor. It will be able to produce up to 160 horsepower and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 8 seconds.
RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE
If you are interested in the new model, you will not have to wait much longer. New 2016 Subaru Crosstrek is expected to be released either at the end of the 2015 or at the beginning of 2016. Price will likely remain similar to the previous generation, starting at around $26,000.
