Toyota is bringing out highly anticipated 2016 Toyota 4Runner. New model will be a great surprise to all of those who are in the market for a mid-size SUV.
EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR
New model will undergo a lot of changes and upgrades and it will come to the market with improved design and enhanced performance. Toyota aims to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle by using lightweight materials which will certainly improve the performance and the fuel consumption. The exterior of the new 4Runner will be more modern, with sleek body and clean cut edges. Changes on the exterior will be seen both on the front and rear end of the vehicle and will include a larger grille, redesigned bumpers, new LED daytime running lights and revised fog lights. The interior of the new 2016 Toyota 4Runner will also be refreshed. Leather seats will provide more comfort for its passengers. Toyota will include a lot modern features such as a 7-inch touch screen, 8-speaker sound system, USB port, GPS system, wireless internet connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity and a lot more great features that will make the new 4Runner more user-friendly.
2016 TOYOTA 4RUNNER ENGINE
Toyota will offer two engine options with their new model. First option will be a 4.0-liter V6 VVTi engine which is the same unit that is under the hood of the current model. This engine will be able to produce up to 270 horsepower and around 250 lb-ft of torque. Although there are not a lot of information about it yet, second engine option for the new 2016 Toyota 4Runner will be a V8 engine which will be capable of delivering a more powerful performance. Both of these engines will be paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission system. Power will be transmitted to all four wheels but Toyota will also offer an optional front-wheel drive system.
RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE
If you are thinking about purchasing the new model, you will certainly have to wait a little bit longer. New 2016 Toyota 4Runner is expected to hit the market in the fall of 2016. When it comes to the price, it will probably not be too much higher than the price of the current generation. Starting price should be around $34,000.
