One of Toyota’s best-selling models is coming back. With a lot of great improvements, new 2016 Toyota Camry will continue to challenge the competition.
CHANGES AND IMPROVEMENTS
This midsize family vehicle is expected to come to the market with a new design. We will see some great changes, both on the inside and on the outside of the new model. From the outside, the car will look elegant and modern. New Camry will be longer in size, with sharper body lines. Some of the changes will include a redesigned trapezoidal grille as well as new headlights and taillights. The cabin will be spacious, thanks to the longer wheelbase, and it will provide high level of comfort for its passengers. High-quality materials will be seen throughout the cabin. New 2016 Toyota Camry will also be equipped with a lot of great features such as Bluetooth connectivity, USB, wireless charging, and many more.
2016 TOYOTA CAMRY ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE
When it comes to the engine of the new 2016 Toyota Camry, we will be presented with a few options to choose from. Base model will be equipped with a smaller engine, compared to the previous generation. This will be a 1.5 liter turbocharged inline-3 engine. Another option for the engine of the new Camry will be a 3.5 liter V6 unit that will be able to produce 286 horsepower and around 248 lb-ft of torque. Both of these engines will be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission system and come with a front wheel drive system as a standard. Fuel consumption is expected to be significantly improved as well. Toyota will continue to offer a hybrid version of the Camry. This model will continue to be equipped with a 2.5 liter Atkinson-cycle engine that will be capable of delivering up to 160 horsepower and around 150 lb-ft of torque. Fuel consumption for this engine will be at 40 mpg.
RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE
Toyota has not yet announced the official release date for their new model but we can expect to see this great sedan on the market at the end of 2015 or at the beginning of 2016. Price for the new 2016 Toyota Camry is anticipated to be in the range of $23,000 to $28,000.
