Buick’s popular sedan is coming back with the new generation. New 2017 Buick LaCrosse is getting a well-deserved redesign and comes with many great updates.
EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR
The exterior of the new LaCrosse will definitely be more attractive and eye-catching. The front side of the vehicle will feature a stylish waterfall grille with company’s logo placed in the middle of it. At the back, LED taillights will contribute to the more stylish look. New model will be up to 300 pounds lighter than its predecessor and will now be longer and wider. Both 18-inch and 20-inch wheels are expected to be offered, depending on the trim level you choose. The cabin of the new 2017 Buick LaCrosse will get a whole new look. It will be equipped with some premium materials such as aluminum, wood and leather. Front seats will be power-adjustable and will come with the heating and cooling features. Active noise cancellation and triple-sealed doors will be just some of the features that will contribute to a quieter cabin. New model will also be equipped with many high-tech features including an 8-inch touchscreen, Bose audio system, wireless charging, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, automatic parking, forward collision alert, adaptive cruise control, and many more.
2017 BUICK LACROSSE ENGINE
When it comes to its engine, new 2017 Buick LaCrosse will be equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine. It will be capable of producing up to 305 horsepower and around 268 lb-ft of torque, which is an improvement from the previous generation of this model. This engine will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission system and will come with either a front-wheel drive or the all-wheel drive system. Although the fuel economy rating are not yet available, we can expect to see some improvements in this aspect as well, thanks to the start-stop technology that is included with the new model.
RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE
If the rumors are true, new 2017 Buick LaCrosse should hit the dealerships in the second half of 2016. Price has not been announced yet. However, base price for the new model will most likely start at around $34,000 and it will rise from there for the higher trim levels.
