2017 Cadillac Escalade – Release Date, Changes, Review

New 2017 Cadillac Escalade is coming more luxurious and better than ever. This elegant model features great updates, both on the interior and the exterior.


As usual, new Escalade will stand out with its big and dominant appearance. Front side of the vehicle will have an aggressive look and will feature a revised grille with company’s logo placed in the middle of it, as well as attractive LED headlights. At the back, we will see stylish LED taillights and a redesigned bumper. Both 20-inch and 22-inch alloy wheels will be available. Cadillac will offer four trim levels: Base, Luxury, Premium, and Platinum. Luxurious design will be continued to the cabin of the new 2017 Cadillac Escalade. The interior will be equipped with premium materials including leather, wood, and aluminum. Seats will provide high level of comfort for its passengers while the front seats will also come with the heating and cooling options.

New model will be equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine. It will be able to deliver up to 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. When it comes to the transmission system, the engine of the new 2017 Cadillac Escalade will be paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive system will be available to choose from. New model will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just around 6 seconds and reach the top speed of 113 mph. Even though great fuel economy is not something Escalade is known for, Cadillac will certainly try to improve it as much as possible. Ratings for the rear-wheel drive model are at 15 mpg for the city drive and 22 mpg on the highway. New Escalade equipped with the all-wheel drive system is expected to deliver 15 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway.

The official release date of the new 2017 Cadillac Escalade has not yet been announced. However, it is expected to be on the market in the second half of 2017. Price will most likely stay similar to the previous generation of this model, starting at around $74,000.
