2017 Honda Ridgeline – Redesign, Interior, Specs

After ten years, Honda is bringing back this midsize pickup. New 2017 Honda Ridgeline will soon be ready to make its debut and hopefully win some new fans.


Although we should not expect any major changes, some nice improvements will be evident, both on the exterior and on the interior of the new model. Honda will use lightweight materials in order to reduce the weight of the new Ridgeline and therefore improve its fuel economy and overall performance. The exterior of the new model will have a fresher look with many stylish accents. Both headlights and taillights will be redesigned and equipped with the LED technology. Daytime running lights and fog lights will provide better visibility for the driver. Redesigned grille with company’s logo placed in the middle will give the front side of the vehicle a more attractive look. A lot more changes and modern design will be seen on the interior of the new 2017 Honda Ridgeline. New model will be able to accommodate up to five passengers. Comparing to its predecessor, the cabin will provide more leg room and head room, contributing to a more comfortable ride. Next to this, we can expect to see a lot of high-tech features that will make the new model more user-friendly and improve the safety of the vehicle.

New model will be equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that will be capable of delivering up to 300 horsepower and around 245 lb-ft of torque. It will most likely be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission system. Both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems are expected to be available. Another great improvement that is coming with the new 2017 Honda Ridgeline will be its fuel efficiency. However, ratings have not yet been released and we will know more information as we approach the release date of the new model.

Honda has not yet announced the official release date of their new model. However, new 2017 Honda Ridgeline will most likely hit the market in the fall of 2016. If the estimations are true, price tag for the base model will be around $30,000.
