New 2017 Jaguar XJ will hit the market this year. This full-sized luxury sedan is bringing some great updates that will come as a nice surprise to its fans.
EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR
As expected, new model will follow in the steps of its predecessor by providing attractive and luxurious style. Thanks to the use of the lightweight materials such as aluminum and carbon fiber, new model will be significantly lighter and as a result be capable of delivering improved performance. Some of the changes that will be visible on the exterior include a bigger grille, revised front bumper, redesigned LED headlights as well as new LED taillights. The interior of the new 2017 Jaguar XJ will also feature luxurious and elegant design. Seats will be covered in high-quality leather and will ensure high level of comfort for its passengers. Among many high-tech features that will be incorporated in the new model are dual hideaway 10.2-inch HD screens, InControl Touch Pro infotainment system, Wi-Fi connectivity, USB ports, 17-speaker sound system, four-zone air conditioning, and InControl Protect system.
2017 JAGUAR XJ ENGINE
Jaguar will offer a few engine options for their new model. The first one will be a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine that will be capable of delivering 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Another option for the engine of the new model will most likely be a 5.0-liter supercharged V8. This unit will come in two versions. The first one will be able to produce 470 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque, while the more powerful one is expected to deliver around 550 horsepower and up to 680 lb-ft of torque. Jaguar might also offer a hybrid version of the new 2017 Jaguar XJ, but we will know more details about it as we approach the release date. All of these engines will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission system and come with either the rear-wheel drive or the all-wheel drive system.
RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE
Even though the official release date has not yet been announced, new 2017 Jaguar XJ will probably arrive to the dealerships before the end of 2016. The price is expected to start at $74,400, and will rise from there for the higher trim levels.
