2017 Subaru BRZ – Changes, Turbo, Review

Attractive design, great fuel economy, and a comfortable cabin are just a few features of the new 2017 Subaru BRZ which is coming to the dealerships soon.


The changes and improvements made on the styling of the new model will definitely make it more competitive and put it higher up in its class. Subaru will offer three trim levels which include Premium, Limited, and the new HyperBlue edition. The overall look of the exterior will be modern and sporty. New BRZ will be equipped with a set of 17-inch wheels. Customers will be able to choose between 6 exterior colors. It will also come with stylish bi-xenon headlights and new LED fog lights. The cabin of the new 2017 Subaru BRZ will feature simplistic and fresh design, and will provide high level of comfort for its passengers thanks to the supportive sports seats. Depending on the trim level, different technological features will be available. Some of those include a 6.2-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio, USB port, voice controls, keyless entry, heated mirrors, rearview camera, cruise control, and dual-zone climate control.

New 2017 Subaru BRZ will be equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that will produce up to 200 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. When it comes to the transmission system, this unit will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Rear-wheel drive system will come as a standard. New BRZ will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds with the manual transmission, and in 7.9 seconds with the automatic gearbox. Fuel economy ratings for the manual transmission will be at 22 mpg for the city drive and 30 mpg on the highway, while the new model equipped with the automatic transmission be able to deliver 25 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.

If you are interested in the new 2017 Subaru BRZ, you will not have to wait too much longer. New model is expected to hit the dealerships this fall. Its price will be between $25,395 and $27,690, depending on the trim level you choose.
