2017 Toyota Corolla – Hybrid, Price, Release Date

Toyota is celebrating 50 year anniversary of its popular compact sedan. New 2017 Toyota Corolla is coming with aggressive look and great fuel economy.


This special edition version of Corolla brings us some exciting updates that will push this model even further up in its class. Toyota will offer four trim levels: L, LE, LE Eco and S. The overall look of the exterior will be more aggressive and sporty. New model will be equipped with a 17-inch alloy wheels. Other changes that will be visible on the exterior include a revised grille, redesigned lower bumper, and a new pair of large LED headlights. The back side will also have attractive appearance and will feature revised taillights. Stylish look will be continued to the interior. Inside the cabin of the new 2017 Toyota Corolla we will find sporty and comfortable design. High-tech and safety features that will be included with the new model are adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic braking, backup camera, dual zone climate control, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, USB port, HD radio, as well as many more.

Under the hood of the new 2017 Toyota Corolla will most likely be the same engine that is under the hood of the current model. This is a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine that will be capable of generating 132 horsepower and 128 lb-ft of torque. The Eco version of this unit will deliver up to 140 horsepower and 126 lb-ft of torque. When it comes to the transmission system, new model will come with a CVT as a standard. However, 6-speed manual and 4-speed automatic will be options for the base L model. It is also likely that Toyota will offer a hybrid version of the new model, but more information regarding that will be revealed closer to the release date.

New 2017 Toyota Corolla is expected to hit the market in the fall of 2016 but the exact date is still unknown. The price has not been announced yet, but we can expect it to be similar to the previous version of this model which starts at around $18,000.
