Toyota is bringing us the next generation of their popular mid-size pickup truck. New 2017 Toyota Tacoma is coming with many great changes and improvements.
EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR
Being one of the best-selling Toyota’s models, new Tacoma will certainly deliver in every aspect. It will have the capability to deliver a great performance, especially on the off-road terrains. New model will be made out of light-weight materials such as aluminum and carbon fiber. This will contribute to the better fuel economy as well as the overall performance. Fog lights will be equipped with the LED technology. Hexagonal grille with company’s name placed in the middle of it will give new Tacoma a more aggressive and powerful look. New 2017 Toyota Tacoma will be equipped with a set of 16-inch wheels. It will be offered in five trim levels. The interior will also undergo some nice changes. The cabin will be comfortable and spacious. It will be able to accommodate up to five passengers. Seats will be adjustable and covered in leather. Toyota will also include a lot of high-tech and safety features. Those include a 6.1-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless charging, voice control, rearview camera, keyless entry and ignition, cruise control, and many more.
2017 TOYOTA TACOMA ENGINE
As always, Toyota will not disappoint with the engine of the new model. New 2017 Toyota Tacoma will most likely be offered with two engine options. The first option will be a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder unit. It will be able to produce 159 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. Another option is a powerful 3.5-liter V6 unit that will be capable of delivering up to 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. When it comes to transmission system, both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearboxes will be available. Fuel economy ratings are still unknown and will be revealed as we approach the release date.
RELEASE DATE AND EXPECTED PRICE
The official release date has not yet been announced but we can probably expect to see the new 2017 Toyota Tacoma in the beginning of 2017. Price for the base model will likely start at around $23,000 and it will go up from there for the higher trim levels.
